General Description:

General Description : A semi-crystalline, white engineering thermoplastic very similar to nylon 12 whose properties are generally slightly inferior. Relative to nylon 6 and 6,6, they both have much lower water absorption (and hence improved dimensional stability and electrical properties) and higher cost. They also have lower impact resistance and somewhat better UV resistance.

Applications include hoses for air, petrol or hydraulic fluid and powder coatings as well as mechanical components.
